As the Vice President of Archer Mechanical in Salt Lake City since 2005, Tony Rickards of Utah is responsible for overseeing the management of the company’s operations on the day to day basis, by delegating tasks to both project managers and team leaders. He is also tasked with estimating operations, and holds responsibility for customer relations among new and existing customers. Before his assumption of the Vice Presidency, Rickards worked with Archer Mechanical as a Journeyman Plumber, where he read and interpreted blueprints, provided supervision for daily job sites and other operational activities, and took on a managerial role overseeing the installation of waste lines, heating and chilling water lines, and other plumbing hardware.

Tony Rickards Utah is an avid sports fan.

After proving himself as a plumber, Tony Rickards of Utah became a Foreman. In this position, he saw his role increase, taking on managerial responsibility of daily job sites and other operations. He was responsible for inventory control and stock, outsourcing, and policy enforcement. Rickards was also responsible for employee development; hiring new workers, overseeing retention, and leading and directing staff and safety training were but a handful of the duties he assumed.

Utah’s Tony Rickards has a very detailed resume, filled with skills that have no doubt bolstered and assisted his professional journey. After obtaining his high school diploma from Hunter High School in Salt Lake City, he earned his Journeyman License from Utah Pope Trade before being certified by the state. Following this, he attended Salt Lake Community College for his Associates fo Science Degree, and also complete the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 Hour Course.

Tony Rickards of Utah is also an active member in the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA)  and Association of General Contractors (AGC) of Utah. He engages in philanthropic activities by donating time and money to different charities throughout the year. Some of the most recent charities he has been involved with are the Walk for Brock (which raises awareness of organ donation, while donating funds to the Brock Strong Foundation), Hunter Cyprus Little League and Kearns High School Athletic Programs. Tony Rickards currently resides in Holladay, Utah with his son Xavier Rickards. Tony enjoys fatherhood, and like to watch his son compete in athletic events such as Baseball, Football, Soccer and Basketball.

Tony Rickards of Utah also enjoys sports such as golfing, wakeboarding, skydiving, baseball, football, weightlifting, boating, snowboarding, and basketball- in fact, he is a Utah Jazz season ticket holder. He also likes to travel.
